Statiq, India’s EV charging network provider, has announced a strategic partnership with BMW Group India to accelerate the electrification of major driving corridors across the country. The collaboration aims to deploy high-power charging stations (minimum 120 kW) every 300–350 kilometers, enabling seamless long-distance EV travel and minimising range anxiety for drivers.

Together, Statiq and BMW Group India have rolled out an expansive 4,000-kilometer charging corridor stretching from Jammu to Madurai, with fast chargers positioned along key highways and public locations. These chargers, open to all EV brands, are also integrated into the myBMW app, offering easy accessibility and navigation for BMW customers.

Akshit Bansal, Founder and CEO, Statiq, said, “Our partnership with BMW Group India marks a defining moment for India’s EV ecosystem. By ensuring high-power chargers every few hundred kilometers, we’re addressing range anxiety head-on and giving drivers the confidence to go electric for intercity travel. Our goal has always been to make EV charging simple, reliable, and accessible for all.
